Rules for Parents

  1. Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities by enforcing regularity and discipline by seeing that their children
    • attend the class daily in neat school uniform,
    • have all the necessary books, prepare their lessons and
    • take an active and helpful interest in the activities of the school.
  2. Parents are informed that occasional reports from teachers are conveniently made in school calendar. They are requested to sign them as a proof that they have read them.
  3. Parents are particularly expected to sign the Progress Reports, Monthly Reports, Unit Test Papers or any other similar documents when so requested. Failure to do so may put their children in great inconvenience. They should also keep an eye in the Non – Attendance and Leave Record.
  4. If a pupil is likely to be absent through illness for a long period the Principal must be informed within a week.
  5. Parents are not allowed to see the children nor interview the teachers during school hours without the prior permission of the Principal, nor should the teachers talk to such visitors in the class for the simple reason that it will disturb the order of the class hour. An appointment with the member of the staff should be arranged only during the teacher’s free period. Parents can meet their teachers from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
  6. The parents /guardians are expected to meet the Principal occasionally to discuss the matter concerning the welfare, education and conduct of their wards.
  7. When communicating with Principal Parents /guardians are requested to mention the name, standard and division of their wards.
  8. Parents should avoid scrupulously criticising the teachers, the school and the manager in the presence of their children. Any logical complaints could be lodged to the Principal.
  9. Parents /guardians are also requested to see that their servants who come to take their children to or from school or to bring their children’s lunch do not remain in the school premises any longer than necessary. Such servants should come only at the time appointed.
  10. Parents are requested to go through the school diary daily to check for any given assignment.
